Title Update 3 is now live on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The patch has not only brought new features, clothing, and other adjustments to the booty shooter, but will also launch the game first raid, Operation Dark Hours, tomorrow, May 16. However, it looks like youll have to manually form a team with other players if you want to face it.
During the latest State of the Game stream, Ubisoft confirmed that Operation Raid Dark Hours will not feature matchmaking, contrary to what they have said in the past. Community developer Hamish Bode read a prepared statement on the subject: “We decided not to include matchmaking, as we dont think it a good gaming experience for random groups. The Raid will test your ability to communicate well, have a good set up, and will require a lot of teamwork to get through the matches.
The editor shared additional details on how Raid groups are formed on the official Division 2 website. The total team of eight players is made up of two traditional four-player parties. In addition, the player who creates the Raid group will be the leader, which means that that player is the only one who can start the Raid. It is not necessary to have a full team of eight players to start the Raid, but Ubisoft points out that the challenge will not be adapted to the size of your team. All players must be at least level 30 and have reached world level 5 to participate.
Operation Dark Hours is activated at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST. The first team to complete the Raid will win a special reward: their team photo and their names will be displayed in the Division 2 White House. Those who complete the Raid by May 23 will receive a commemorative patch, while all those who clear it after that date will win a clan banner icon and a trophy in their clan space.
In addition to Operation Dark Hours, Title 3 Upgrade has added two new Classified Assignment missions for the Pass of Year 1 owner. It also introduced an assortment of new costumes, masks, emotes, weapon skins, and more into the game. The full Title Update 3 patch can be found on the Division 2 website.
